Welcome to Sedgwick, ME.
The village of Sedgwick Maine is located on the
Blue Hill Peninsula and provides
views of mountains and
miles of blueberry fields. Here at the Benjamin River Wharf you can
relax on a beach, swim and enjoy water sports. The village is
historically significant to our shipbuilding industry. In the 1700's
Sedgwick became home to shipbuilding operations, a canning factory, a
silver mine and even a bowling alley. Ice cut from
Walker Pond made it to
places as far away as India. |
