Welcome to Sullivan Maine.   Sullivan is known as the gateway to Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula.   Sullivan is also famous for the Schoodic Mountain.  A hike up this mountain provides a reward of panoramic views of the Acadia National Park Mountains.  In Sullivan, you have Flanders Bay and Flanders Pond and also the Sullivan Harbor.  There are magnificent views across the ocean of the Acadia National Park mountains here and at night, you can see the lights of the towns across the way.   Sullivan is a good central local for enjoying all areas of Downeast Maine.
