Welcome to Lamoine, Maine - another scene of the park!  This beach area is perfect for having your picnic or cookout.  There are tables lined right up at the ocean's edge waiting for you.  This is also a great place for kayaking.  You can kayak across to the head of Salsbury Cove and Hulls Cove on Mount Desert Island and see a formation carved out by the sea forming cavities called the Ovens which have been baked by intrusion of Cadillac Mountain granite.  It is submerged at high tide, so you must go at mid to low tide to see it.
