In 2007 Ellsworth Maine completed it's beautification project in the downtown area with gardens, a park, granite posts and landscaping.   It is one and of the fastest growing cities in Maine marking 2008 as a ground breaking year with extensive renovations, new shops, home improvement centers, restaurants and commerce.  Downeast Maine is a beautiful coastal area.  While shopping you can smell the sea air and watch seagulls soar the skies.
