The Barncastle Hotel & Restaurant was built
in the 1880’s, Barncastle was the first of Blue Hill’s grand
summer cottages.
Barncastle is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places and is now operated as
a Hotel and Restaurant, still welcoming summer visitors to
Blue Hill more than 120 years later. The restaurant at Barncastle
features a wood-fired pizza oven and specializes in
locally-grown and organically-raised ingredients along with
fine imported cheeses. The restaurant also serves as
the perfect year-round venue for events from 10-250 guests.
From weddings to reunions inside or out, the Barncastle is
